Application examples

Depending on the application of P-179 Rubbing Compound can be used:

To remove sanding marks (P1500/P2000) made after correction of orange peel, paint runs, dust nibs, light to heavy scratches (Orange Sandwich Waffle Foam Pad)

To remove moderate to heavy scratches (Orange Sandwich Waffle Foam Pad)

To remove moderate to fine scratches (Orange Sandwich Waffle Foam Pad)

Suitable for use with dual action (DA - 2000-10000 RPM) and rotary (1000-2000 RPM) polishing machines or by hand.

Haze or light holograms can develop on dark paints after polishing with P-179 and the Orange Sandwich Waffle Pad. These can be eliminated by using S29 Micro-compound in combination with the Orange Sandwich Waffle Pad (just two compounds and one pad for all of your finishing needs).
